We are rallying a youth movement around the globe that would forcefully highlight the capabilities and potentials of the young person to national development. We seek to mainstream young people and youth issues in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation at all levels of decision making. You MUST be a part of this.
Global Youth Support (CGYS) was formed in 2002 and has since been committed to promoting the good course of young people in Ghana. The organization thrives on a broad volunteer base of young people who work towards their personal and community development. The organization was registered in 2004 to place it in a better position to organize its activities and bring on board more stakeholders.
Our mission is to empower young people in Ghana to become active participants in their own development regardless of sex, creed and colour.

Ultimately, we work to create a society where all structural barriers that prevent young people from achieving their goals are eliminated.
Specific Objectives
CGYS seeks to among other things
· build the capacity of young people to become more functional in society
· reduce the risk of Sexually transmitted infections among young people
· reduce teenage pregnancy and school drop-out cases resulting from the former
· promote the promulgation of pro youth policies and mainstream young people in development at all levels
· contribute to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality in Ghana.
· eliminate all forms of discrimination among young women.
